Attendees can provide written or verbal comments
Two public hearings are scheduled this week for 80/94 FlexRoad, one in Indiana and one in Illinois, to offer the opportunity to learn more about and provide official comment on preliminary design plans and environmental document for the project.
Wednesday, July 23 Thursday, July 24
Purdue Northwest Student Union Library Irwin Community Center
Alumni Hall 18120 Highland Ave., Homewood, IL
2233 173rd St., Hammond, IN
Both hearings are from 5:30 to 7 p.m. CT with a presentation at 6 p.m. There will be an open-house portion of the meeting before and after the formal presentation to allow time for discussion with members of the project team.
Immediately following the presentation, public comments for the project record will be heard as part of the hearing process. Written comments can also be submitted. Responses to comments will be provided in the final environmental document, expected late this year.
An option to stream the presentation and public comment session is also available. Both hearings will be streamed live starting at 6 p.m. CT via Microsoft Teams.
